The Intersection of Protein Biochemistry and Molecular Mycology

In the Washington laboratory we use diverse approaches - structural biology, biochemistry and fungal genetics - to understand how macromolecular machines in fungal pathogens function.  We are particularly interested in understanding how these macromolecular machines enable fungal pathogens to survive and proliferate in the host environment.
